Sculptra® is a minimally invasive procedure that increases collagen production to restore the youthful appearance and volume of the skin. The body’s connective tissues and joints rely on collagen for strength and elasticity. The collagen in the skin keeps it firm, smooth, and youthful. Over time, our bodies’ collagen production decreases, resulting in wrinkles and sagging. Sculptra stimulates the production of natural collagen in the skin, resulting in firmer, younger-looking skin by correcting shallow to deep wrinkles and folds. After a Sculptra® treatment, the body produces more collagen, so the results do not appear right away.
Sculptra® can be used to treat the face, chest, and other parts of the body. A series of 3 treatments is typically recommended. Results last 2-3 years.
